Award-Winning TV Series

Robert Eisele’s career in television began with his Humanitas Prize-winning episode of CAGNEY & LACEY. Michael Mann saw the episode and hired Eisele as Story Editor of his acclaimed series, CRIME STORY. Eisele went on to write nine episodes of THE EQUALIZER, the original series, and served as the show’s supervising producer. He executive produced the Alma Award-winning series RESURRECTION BLVD. for Showtime, the first Latino drama on American television, and served as co-showrunner. Eisele has also written and produced memorable movies for television such as LILY IN WINTER, an award-nominated Christmas story, and Showtime’s BIRDS II: LAND’S END, a sequel to the Hitchcock horror classic. Academy Award-winning director Delbert Mann helmed LILY IN WINTER, starring Natalie Cole, and Eisele executive produced the film with Walter Mirisch, a multiple Academy Award-winner. Eisele’s VANISHING SON movies were the first on American TV to feature Asian leading characters, and he wrote the pilot episode that launched the franchise as a one-hour series. He also wrote and produced the pilot for DARKMAN, his adaptation of Sam Raimi’s movie to series format. Eisele executive produced the two-hour television movie/pilot of Caleb Carr’s the OSIRIS CHRONICLES. He continues to develop concepts and pilots for innovative series that speak to our times.
